A PIGEON got tangled up in twine inside an industrial unit in East Kilbride.
The Scottish SPCA was was called to the unit on july 10, where they process cotton, after a pigeon had made its way inside.
Twine is a strong thread or cotton twisted together.
Animal Rescue Officer Sian Robertson said, “The pigeon got his feet stuck in reels of twine but that didn’t stop him flying about!
“After a lot of ducking and diving I managed to catch him with the help of my colleague, Morgan Gilmour. We cut the twine off and the pigeon flew away when he was released back outside.”
Anyone concerned about the welfare of an animal should contact the Scottish SPCA animal helpline on 03000 999 999.
