A Glasgow man has become an unlikely online star after breaking out into an epic rap song in the middle of a street.

Reportedly homeless, the man is said to have approached a driver in the Merchant City to ask for change.

When the driver asks him to rap, he didn’t expect what would come next.

Posted on Twitter just two days ago, the site user, Gerry Donnelly‏, claimed the rapper is known as “MC Hercules.”

In the piece, the man reflects on his battle with drugs as well as time spent behind bars.

In a more emotional moment, he also gets on his knees and, clasping his hands in a prayer-like motion, mentions friends who have since died.

The two-minute clip has received thousands of reactions as people continue to come forward to praise the guy for his talents.

“That’s actually quite impressive,” wrote one taken-back Twitter user, as another added, “Class man.”

One user of the site, @ThomasG1872, retweeted the video, and added: “Wee guys a street beggar, if he straightened his act up who knows, there’s a talent in there somewhere.”
