UPDATE: All lanes are now running following the earlier car fire
Drivers are being urged to be careful on approach to the M77 Northbound between as emergency services tend to a car on fire on the hard shoulder.
The incident - at Junction 6 Kingswell and Junction 7 Clunch Road - has been logged by Traffic Scotland as of 2.45pm this afternoon and could be two lanes restricted by up to 30 minutes.
Traffic Scotland said: “#M77 N/B J7 Fenwick - J6 Kingswell Car fire on hard shoulder, all traffic being held though and queuing. Emergency services on scene.”

The team also added: “M77 J6 Kingswell - J7 Clunch Rd - Accident, 2 lanes restricted Northbound for up to 30 minutes.”

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said three appliances had been dispatched to the scene where the blaze has since been brought under control.
SFRS also added that there have been no castaulties.
