A superyacht belonging to a US billionaire has turned heads after mooring at a dock in Greenock.
The multi-million pound Amaryllis berthed at James Watt Dock Marina.
The luxurious vessel, owned by American billionaire Richard De Vos, was built in 2011 by the German shipyard Abeking and Rasmussen.
As reported by the Greenock Telegraph, the boat is 78 metres long, can carry 14 passengers and 19 crew and costs around $700,000 a week to hire.
The owners are believed to be arriving over the next week.
Mr De Vos, 91, owner of the Orlando Magic basketball team, is listed as the 60th wealthiest person in the United States and the 205th richest in the world.
He worked in the electrical business, served in the United States Army Air Corps in World War Two and has written books including one titled ‘Compassionate Capitalism’.
