The first-ever Glasgow Canal Dragon Boat Race has been held, with participants in fancy dress among those taking part.
The Saturday event at Applecross Basin on the Forth & Clyde Canal was part of the inaugural Glasgow Canal Festival.
Transport Minister Humza Yousaf took up an oar to join one of the teams as they paddled their way to the finishing line.
The festival is organised by Scottish Canals, Glasgow City Council, National Theatre of Scotland, The Whisky Bond, Queens Cross Housing Association and various canalside communities and businesses.
