Two sailing dinghies have been found by coastguard and emergency services after they were reported missing in Ayrshire.
The vessels left Prestwick, South Ayrshire, on Saturday morning and no further contact had been made with them.
The alarm was raised on Saturday night and included a large-scale sea search involving Arran, Troon and Girvan RNLI Lifeboats and Rescue 199 Search and Rescue helicopter.
Arran RNLI Lifeboat crews later joined the search teams at 3.50am on Sunday.
The vessels were spotted by the Arran crew at 5am on Sunday morning at Sandbraes in Whiting Bay, Isle of Arran.
Martin Wood, helmsman at Arran RNLI said: "We were all very relieved when we spotted the dinghies on the shore at Sandbraes which had obviously been stowed overnight.
"It was a great conclusion to the search. We would like to remind everyone that when they are planning an open water crossing, particularly in a small craft such as sailing dinghies or kayaks, that they should have a contact on shore who is aware of their plans."
