A MOTORIST was banned from driving after he attempted to drive a van while already disqualified.
Kenneth McLeod was sentenced at Glasgow Sheriff Court after he was spotted in a Ford Transit van by police.
The 47-year-old admitted that on May 2, 2017 on Reid Street he drove while disqualified.
He also admitted driving with no insurance.
His solicitor said he had actually obeyed the previous order but did not take the required test to completely lift the ban.
He was disqualified for five years, placed under supervision for a year and ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work.
