A MAN was found with £2,000 worth of drugs in his home.

Brian O’Neill had his home searched by police where they found the quantity of class B drugs the accused was growing.

The court heard officer were offered entry to his home 3am where they initially made the discovery.

Officers then returned at 12pm the same day with a search warrant.

The 36-year-old admitted that on December 26 2016 at Viewfield Drive he produced cannabis.

O’Neill’s defending solicitor said his client was growing the plant for his personal use.

He was ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work.
