Celtic and Sunderland fans have both clashed in the street as cops struggle to control both sides in the city today.
Ahead of a friendly at the Stadium of Light, a video posted on Twitter shows both sides embroiled in a fierce physical brawl.
One topless man can be seen throughout the 30-second clip walking up and down the pavement as blood pours from his head.

Northumbria Police confirmed shortly after the incident that police and paramedics attended the Hendon area after damage was caused to an off-licence and allegations of assault were reported.
In a statement, the force said: “A man has been taken to hospital with a head inury.
“Police enquiries are on-going to determine the circumstances around the incident.
“Police are reminding all Sunderland and Celtic fans that any form of disorder, violence or any behaviour that endangers the public will not be tolerated and police action will be taken.”
Former EDL leader Tommy Robinson also shared a live video on his Facebook page while at the scene, showing a Hoops fan seemingly unconscious on the pavement.
In the clip, he claims Hoops fans attacked him with “flares and missiles.”
Earlier this morning, Sunderland Police urged fans in a short statement: “A reminder to all fans at the Stadium of Light today, we want to ensure everyone gets to enjoy the day so no disorder will be tolerated.
“We want to welcome Celtic fans to our force area today.
“We hope you enjoy the day and give us no reason to ruin it for you.
“Stay safe.”
