Calvin Harris is well on the way to knocking Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber off their number one throne this week as his track, Feels, soars up the singles charts.

The superstar collaboration, featuring Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry and Big Sean, is currently at number two and only 500 sales behind summer smash-hit, Despacito, with four days still to go before the official list is released.

Success for Harris’ tune would deprive the Latin-inspired remix of a 12th week in the top spot, while marking an eighth number one for the artist himself, a fourth for Williams, a fifth for Perry and a first ever for Sean.

New in this week’s top five list is Subeme La Radio by Enrique Iglesias, featuring Sean Paul and X Factor champ Matt Terry, in third position, Sun Comes Up by Rudimental and James Arthur in fourth and New Rules by Dua Lipa in fifth.

Last week’s favourites Wild thoughts (DJ Khaled featuring Rihanna and Bryson Tiller), Unforgettable (French Montana with Swae Lee) and Mama (Jonas Blue and William Singe) have so far dropped off the list.

Over in the album charts, Ed Sheeran is on his way to reclaim his number one spot, totting up more sales of Divide so far than last week’s chart winner, Arcade Fire’s Everything Now.

Meanwhile, John Denver’s The Ultimate Collection has shot from 10th to third position, while Rag ‘N’ Bone’s Human has dropped to fourth and Def Leppard’s 30th anniversary re-release of Hysteria has entered the list in fifth.
