SCOTLAND’S very own Comic Con event will return to Glasgow next month with a whole host of guests and attractions.

MCM Scotland Comic Con is blasting back to the SEC in the city between September 23 and 24 September.

The event will offer fans two eye-popping days featuring everything from comics, movies, games and sci-fi to cosplay, anime, steampunk and online video.

The cast from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are joining MCM Scotland Comic Con’s special guest roster in the form of Blue Ranger, David Yost; Black Ranger, Walter Jones and the energetic and spirited Yellow Ranger, Karan Ashley.

For animation fans, special anime guest and voice acting talent Veronica Taylor, known for her roles in Pokémon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Slayers, will be appearing at the show, alongside Attack on Titan and Sword Art Online star Bryce Papenbrook, who has been a professional voice over artist since the age of eight.

The pop-culture pros will be available for photo sessions and autograph signings.

They will also be talking behind the scenes gossip, teasing upcoming plots, and answering questions from the audience.

The organisers of the event also said that they plan to announce more guests in due course.

Elsewhere at MCM Scotland Comic Con, fans can find a host of amazing comic book artists and writers, Asian culture celebrations, steampunk and children’s entertainment.

The event will also host exhibitors and retailers, including movie studios, videogame and comic book publishers, anime and manga distributors.
