A MAN who raped a woman and then callously demanded she wash the bed sheets to destroy any evidence was jailed for six years on Wednesday.
Stephen Lee, 29, from Castlemilk, Glasgow, raped the woman twice at a flat in Glasgow on March 30, 2015.
He was also convicted of indecently assaulting the same 29-year-old woman at another Glasgow flat in 2007 while she was asleep.
After the indecent assault Lee wrote to his victim and apologised to her.
At the High Court in Glasgow judge Lord Arthurson told Lee: “It is clear your attacks on your victim have had a profound effect on her life.
“In the report prepared on you it is said you minimise your own behaviour and show no remorse. You attitude towards your victim is described as callous.”
Lord Arthurson placed Lee on the sex offenders' register.
