COPS have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to after a number of thefts and fraudulent activity in the Glasgow area.

A housebreaking and a sneak-in theft occurred in the Swinton area of Glasgow at around 4.50am on Friday, June 16. 

A number of high-value items were stolen and there was related fraudulent activity.

Police today have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

He is described as approximately 5ft 7 inches in height and of slim build with brown/blonde hair.

He is wearing a blue Nike jumper and grey jogging trousers.

Constable Rachel Fulton at Maryhill is appealing for information.

She said: "Enquiries are ongoing to trace the person responsible for these crimes.

"At this time, I am appealing to members of the public to contact us with any information that they may have.

"I would ask anyone who recognises the man in the image to please get in touch, as it is vital that we speak to him as part of our enquiry."

Anyone with information should be passed to police at Maryhill Police Station via 101 quoting incident number 0501 of 16 June.
