A 74-YEAR-OLD man died following a two car crash in Strathaven.
The man died at the scene of the crash at the junction of the B743 and Roman Road.
Police said his silver Mazda collided with a black Vauxhall Antara at 1.30pm on Sunday.
The 32-year-old Antara driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to Hairmyres hospital in East Kilbride.
He stayed overnight and was later released.
Sergeant Craig McDonald is appealing for witnesses. He said: “ I would appeal for any witnesses to the collision that have not already come forward, or anyone with information relating to the incident, to contact road policing officers at Motherwell."
