RANGERS manager Pedro Caixinha is urging fans to get behind the club’s most recent charity initiative.

Pedro Caixinha is asking fans to support the Rangers Charity Foundation’s Big Hearted Bears Day activity at Ibrox on Saturday.

The event will be celebrating the work of the Foundation and raising money for its new Rangers Charity Dream Fund.

Volunteers will be selling limited edition Big Hearted Bears pin badges for £2 in and around the stadium before the game against Hearts.

Proceeds from the sales will go towards helping the Foundation make dreams come true for children and adults in need of a boost owing to an illness, disability of difficult experience.

The Foundation organises Dream Days at the club and training ground where fans can meet the first team squad.

They are also invited to matchday visits and given goodie bags for children and adults in hospital.

Pedro Caixinha commented: “It’s great that the Foundation can reach even more people in need of a lift thanks to the new Rangers Charity Dream Fund, which I am sure the fans will really get behind.

“The Dream Days are always a highlight for myself and the players as well as the people who come along and we very much enjoy their visits to the training ground.”

Rangers Charity Foundation Director Connal Cochrane added: “Big Hearted Bears Day is a fantastic opportunity for the Rangers Family to come together and celebrate the work of the Rangers Charity Foundation.

“I hope everyone can feel proud of the tremendous difference we are making to people’s lives and I’m looking forward to thanking fans personally for their support on Saturday.”

There will also be a memorabilia stall outside the Megastore on Saturday from 1pm which will be selling programmes, shirts, signed pictures and other collectable Rangers items.

A free prize draw will be running for supporters to win a signed Rangers shirt and opportunities to get your photograpth taken in an ‘I am a Big Hearted Bear’ photo frame.
