TODAY marks the start of Glasgow Wildfest, a celebration of the city's urban wildlife.
The RSPB Scotland month long festival launches in the Botanics with 32 events taking place during September.
It is the fourth Wildfest to take place in the city, with the focus switching to different parts of Glasgow each weekend.
Highlights for the festival include the opening of a newly developed garden and community hub by Friends of Springburn Park (on September 23) and a picnic concert at the Hidden Gardens with the accompaniment of live chamber music (September 16).
Tomorrow, there will be a Wild Day Out in the Botanic Gardens with children and volunteers documenting wildlife seen in the gardens.
