A FIVE-year-old child is in hospital after being hit by a car near a popular city museum.
The boy and a 46-year-old woman were crossing Argyle Street outside Kelvingrove art gallery when they were hit by the car yesterday afternoon.
The pair were struck by a Volkswagen Touareg, which was driven by a 30-year-old woman, at around 4.50pm and were taken to hospital by emergency services.
Police have now appealed to anyone who witnessed the incident who they haven't yet spoken to to contact them on the non-emergency number 101.
