A DRUNK driver ended up with a collapsed lung and broken bones after getting behind the wheel.
Ryan Donald, 31, was more than double the limit when he decided to drive on August 21 last year.
He ended up with a collapsed lung, broken collar bone, foot, chest plate and pelvis after crashing the vehicle.
Father-of-three Donald, from Riddrie, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court and was told it was "very lucky" nobody else had been injured during the incident.
He was caught on Royston Road near Broomfield Road around 4.45am.
Sheriff Bonnar Sentenced Donald, of Earn Street, to do 180 hours of unpaid work in nine months, and has been banned from driving for three years.
