A MAN was taken to hospital after police talked him down from the ledge of a block of flats in Govanhill.
Police Scotland confirmed today that they took the man to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for a check-up following the incident yesterday.
The force said that they worked with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to resolve the stand-off.
We previously reported that officers rushed to the scene at Annette Street at around 3.40pm on Monday.
Streets in the surrounding area were effected by the incident including Annette Street, Alison Street, Calder Street and Gartuck Street.
The roads later reopened after the man was talked down at around 4.45pm.
