A shocking video has emerged online showing a man issuing death threats on a Springburn bus. 

The video, taken by another passenger, shows a man shouting violent death threats during a phone conversation in front of other commuters. 

At the beginning of the clip, the man can be heard asking 'where will you be tomorrow?' seconds before he launches into an aggressive tirade. 

As the argument begins, he can be heard saying "You'll get slapped about mate".

He continues, "I'll come and meet about ten of yous mate I swear to god" before he begins to issue death threats. 

During the two-minute long clip, he issued multiple death threats, detailing the use of a weapon.

The video was uploaded to Facebook by a user and has already been shared more than 3000 times. 

However, Scottish social media users have mocked the video and dubbed it 'embarrassing'.

Tasha Byth said: "What a embarrassment."

Siobhan Kelly said: "Imagine seeing that on a bus, I wish I went on buses more often."

Fergus Hainey said: "I bet there was nobody on the other end of the phone."

A police spokesperson said: "We are aware of the video which has been posted online and it has been passed to the relevant department to progress as appropriate."
