A shocking video showing a woman battering a man in a vicious altercation in Glasgow’s East End has been gathering mass attention online.

The video shows a female screaming and shouting at her male companion and hitting him full force across the face - without any reaction from him at all.

The 18-second clip was filmed in Tollcross Road, Parkhead, and posted onto the Scottish Vines Facebook page on Tuesday.

Glasgow Times:

It has been captioned “Somewhere in Parkhead,” along with a crying-with-laugher emoji.

In just two days, it has already amassed more than 320,000 views.

Although not clear how the rammy started, the woman can be heard shouting: “I’m going to knock your f*****g…”

She then dishes out a very loud slap while onlookers behind the camera gasp.

The man is then seen turning away and walking in the direction of Burgher Street as his ‘other half’ continues her foul-mouthed rant.

She can be heard to shout: “Go get your bird. Tell your bird I’m here. Tell your bird I’m here. You f*****g daftie.”

All the while, another man attempts to restrain her by holding her back.

Many have come forward to criticise the woman for her actions while many applauded the man for restraining himself from also lashing out.
