Dad of tragic Kirsty Aitchison killed in accident just 15 months after daughter died in River Clyde
A man has died in a freak accident just 15 months after the body of his daughter Kirsty Aitchison was found in the River Clyde.
Kenneth Aitchison was killed when he was hit by a vehicle at work in Auchinleck on Tuesday.
He died at the scene from a serious head injury.
His ex-wife told the Daily Record: “I was very sorry to hear it.”
He was the father of deaf mother-of-four Kirsty Aitchison who was found dead in the River Clyde 15 months ago.
She went missing from a night out, sparking a manhunt in Glasgow.
She was found several days later.
Her death was not treated as suspicious.
