RANGERS legend Paul Gascoigne did his best impression of former teammate Mark Hateley's long hair as he spoke to his fans at Glasgow's Pavilion Theatre.

The former England international who played with Rangers between 1995-98, spoke about his time with the club during the special event organised by FSG and Goldstar Promotions.

As he swished some pretend hair about he said: "For me I remember watching Rangers a little bit when I was younger with the likes of Mark Hateley. It was a great team.

"I was on holiday with my ex wife and Walter Smith was there and didn't recognise that I was on the beach. I went to my ex wife 'See that guy there. It would be a dream to play for him and Glasgow Rangers' and three years later I managed to make it.

Recalling his heyday he said: "What you guys did to me. It put a a smile on my face and I started loving football again. It was probably the best two and a half years I've ever had in my life. I wish I'd have stayed cause I think we would have got ten in a row and I'll never surrender."
