A POLICE car crashed in to a pedestrian vehicle while on its way to a 999 call.
The crashed involving the police vehicle and white Suzuki Splash happened today around 2.25pm.
Alexandra Parade at the junction with Alexandra Park Street was closed off following the incident.
Emergency services arrived to check the two police officers and two pedestrians, but none required hospital treatment.
Both vehicles collided when the traffic lights they were stopped at changed.
A police spokeswoman said: " Around 2.25pm today a police car was involved in a collision with a white Suzuki Splash on Alexandra Parade, at Alexandra Park Street.
" There were two police officers in their car and two pedestrians in the Splash.
"Nobody was injured.
"Enquiries are continuing."
