A GLASGOW street was closed to traffic after a fire broke out in a busy city centre square.
Fire crews were called to the basement of a disused building in Royal Exchange Square just after 7.20pm.
Queen Street was closed and traffic was diverted.
Scottish Fire and Rescue said the fire had been brought under control within the hour.
The road has now re-opened to traffic.
