Woman struck by falling plasterboard at Queen Street station
A woman has been struck by a section of falling plasterboard at Queen Street Station.
The plasterboard is believed to have collapsed from the ceiling next to the ticket desk and struck a female passenger.
She has been taken to hospital after suffering minor injuries.
No other passengers were injured.
The protective structure is part of the ongoing demolition works at the building.
The station is currently undergoing a £120 million redevelopment.
A spokeperson for British Transport Police said: "At 11.18am a female passenger was struck by a falling piece of plasterboard.
She suffered minor injuries.
No other passengers were injured."
