Scots actor Dougray Scott has praised his wife and all other woman who have spoken out about Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. 

The Desperate Housewives star, posted a screenshot of an article about his wife, Claire Forlani and her encounters with Weinstein on his Intagram page with the caption: "Bravo to my wife and all the other brave women who have spoken of the utterly disgusting behaviour of Weinstein!

"Let's pray this is the end of this detestable behaviour by men everywhere! I’m so sorry you all had to experience such disgusting behaviour."

Claire alleged that Weinstein made advances towards her but she 'escaped five times.'

Several fans commented on the post praising the female actress and condemning Weinstein's behaviour. User mad_rogWell said: "Totally unacceptable and appalling behaviour." 

Blacknuss007 added: "Nothing but mad respect, Mrs. Forlani-Scott."

Two of Hollywood’s biggest movie stars, Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow, both claimed they had been sexually harassed by Weinstein – the latest in a string of women to make allegations against him.

As reported by the Evening Times, Weinstein has rejected many of the allegations and issued a vehement denial over three allegations of rape which emerged on Tuesday.
