A 12-year-old boy was chased by a man wearing creepy clown makeup and a wig in Castlemilk.
The youngster was at the Barlia Park Pitches when the incident happened at around 5.30pm on Thursday.
It's understood the man was standing alone near a wooded path before he approached the boy.
The boy, who was unharmed, was left shaken by the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At around 5.30pm on Thursday, October 12, police received a report of a boy being approached by someone wearing face paint, possibly dressed as a clown, at the Barlia Park Pitches in Castlemilk.
"No criminality was established and advice was given to the family."
