INVESTIGATIONS are continuing today into the cause of a fire in which a woman died.
The 64 year-old was discovered at the property in Springburn Road, in the north of the city.
Emergency crews were called to the row of flats in Springburn Road just after 11pm on Saturday night.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Several staff from local housing association, NG Homes, were seen clearing up and cleaning the common areas of the two storey flats on Sunday.
One window in the ground floor flat where the fire took place has been boarded up.
Residents in the three other flats in the close have been moved out of their homes temporarily.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Emergency services attended and the body of a 64-year-old woman was recovered within the building.
“Enquiries have been carried out and there are no suspicious circumstances.”
The incident is not thought to be suspicious.
