A TEENAGER drunk on three litres of cider battered a man three times her age after he slagged off her family.

Rhiannan Hunter was at a party with friends when she got into an argument with a man in his 40s.

Hunter, from Knightswood, followed the man and found him waiting for a lift where she repeatedly punched him on the head and kicked him.

The 19-year-old's victim suffered cuts and bruising to the left side of his face.

Hunter's defence brief said: "Alcohol had been consumed by both parties."

Hunter was on bail at the time of the offence, around 9.45pm on May 14, 2015.

Glasgow Sheriff Court heard she is now mum to a three-month-old baby and in a stable relationship.

Sheriff Allan Findlay asked Hunter: "Lesson learned?" She nodded and the sheriff told her she was admonished.
