A MAN'S body has been found underneath the Kingston Bridge.

The discovery was made shortly before noon today and police have now taped off the area as investigations are underway.

As yet there is no age for the man and officers say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

The man was found near the on ramp for the Clydeside Expressway.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Around 11.55am the body of a man was found underneath the Kingston Bridge at the Clydeside Expressway on ramp at Argyle Street.

"Enquiries are ongoing, however at this time it does not appear to be suspicious.

"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
