A SPURNED lover who was rejected by a woman posted naked pictures and videos of her on social media and sent them to her family.

Mohammed Rafiq, 42, uploaded a naked image taken from a video of her showering onto her Facebook.

He then went on to post the video and a comment that she was a “prostitute” with her contact information.

He further humiliated her by sending the video to a friend and some of her family through WhatsApp.

Rafiq, from Glasgow’s west end, pled guilty on Wednesday (today) at Glasgow Sheriff Court to stalking his ex partner between April 21 and May 19, 2015.

Procurator fiscal depute Adele MacDonald said Rafiq and the 24-year-old female had been in a relationship that ended in May 2014.

They had stayed in touch until March 2015 when Rafiq wanted to reconcile, but she didn’t.

The girl was made aware of the post and family members abroad told her they had seen the image.

Rafiq's address was located as being where the images were posted from.

The court heard the female got married this year but has been ostracised by her new husband’s family.

She was off work for two weeks at the time of the offence, because of the embarrassment caused.

Sheriff Martin Jones QC deferred sentence until next month and said “all sentencing options remain open.”
