The tortmented husband of Kirsty Maxwell has revealed he has barely slept in six months as police still search for answers surrounding her death.

Adam, 27, had married Kirsty, 28, just weeks before she fell from the 10th floor of an apartment block while on a hen do in Benidorm in April.

Devastated Adam said the mystery surrounding his wife's death has taken it's toll “mentally and physically” and he has been unable to return to work.

Speaking to The Sun he said: "Every day I think about Kirsty and there’s a severe lack of sleep at night because I just can’t switch off from it.

“We are almost six months down the line and still asking the same questions. Physically and mentally it’s very difficult."

Five British men were quizzed by police over the tragedy as it was claimed Kirsty may have been trying to flee a sex attack at the Apartamentos Payma.

Callum Northridge, 27, Ricky Gammon, 31, Daniel Bailey, 32, and 34-year-old Anthony Holehouse all denied any involvement in Kirsty’s death.
