Roadworks which were set to begin last night on the M8 near Glasgow Airport have been delayed because of Storm Brian.
Resurfacing work was due to begin on the M8 Eastbound between Junction 29 and 28, but has been postponed until tonight Saturday, October 21.
Travellers can expect up to 40 minute delays as the work is set to begin at 8pm and continue until 6am Monday, October 23.
Drivers are reminded to plan their journeys in advance with the possible delay time in mind.
Due to this delay, the amount of road being resurfaced has been reduced which means further roadworks will be taking place at a later date.
