Police in Glasgow are appealing for information to help trace a man reported missing in the city.

Daryl Howard was last seen leaving his home address in Mannering Court at around 4pm on Friday, October 20.

Since then the 26-year-old has failed to return to home and has not been in contact with friends or family.

The police are concerned about his welfare and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Daryl is described as approx. 5ft 2 inches with black hair and a slim build with a distinctive scar on his face.

He was last seen wearing black jogging trousers, a black hooded top with possibly a red top underneath and white trainers. He was also carrying a black backpack with white writing on it.

Inspector James Mann said: "We are eager to trace Daryl as soon as possible, as we have concerns for his wellbeing and would urge anyone who knows his current whereabouts to contact police immediately.

"Daryl is also asked to get in touch with us or attend at a local police station so we can confirm his safety."
