RANGERS manager Pedro Caixinha is under pressure following his side's Betfred Cup semi-final defeat to Motherwell on Sunday.

A poor performance from the Light Blues resulted in a 2-0 reverse, with Steelmen striker Louis Moult bagging both goals to send the Fir Park outfit to the final as Caixinha was sent to the stands for a touchline bust-up.

The Portuguese boss saw another chance to secure three wins on the trot pass him by, something he has failed to achieve since his arrival in March.

Rangers finished last season in third place in the Ladbrokes Premiership and suffered defeat to rivals Celtic in the Scottish Cup semi-finals under Caixinha's guidance before being humiliated with a 5-1 home defeat against the Hoops in the league.

An early Europa League exit to Luxembourg minnows Progres Niederkorn increased the scrutiny of the former Santos Laguna boss, whose side currently lie six points behind Celtic and Aberdeen in the table.

After a busy summer in the transfer market, do you think he deserves more time to turn things around at Ibrox?

Or would you like to see the Gers act immediately by dismissing him and looking for a replacement?
