A WOMAN who threatened to hit a police constable with a glass ashtray has been praised for cleaning up her act.
At Glasgow Sheriff Court, Kellyanne Airdrie pleaded guilty to repeatedly shouting and swearing at an address in Kirkhill Drive on November 16, 2014.
The 38-year-old also admitted holding an ashtray above her head in a threat to strike a female PC there at the same time.
Following the incident, the accused has since accessed a detoxification programme and has made proactive steps to recovery.
The sheriff noted: "You certainly seem to be doing a lot of work to turn things around."
Airdrie, of Linkwood Crescent, was sentenced to a Community Payback Order with supervision for one year.
