A SEX offender who failed to tell authorities about a change of address has been jailed for his carelessness.
At Glasgow Sheriff Court, Christopher Robinson pleaded guilty to failing to notify Cathcart Police Office of his whereabouts between September 20 and October 3, 2017, as required as part of the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
In defence it was claimed that the 37-year-old, of no fixed abode, had moved to Scotland and was "careless" in failing to notify authorities.
Robinson now intends to register and obtain housing in Glasgow.
He was sentenced to three months in jail for his gaffe, backdated to October 4.
