Massive £440K drugs haul found in car pulled over on M74
HUNDREDS of thousands of pounds worth of drugs have been found in a car on the motorway.
Cops stopped a Toyota Land Cruiser on the M74 near Carmyle yesterday morning and made the startling find.
The haul of cannabis resin, worth around £440,000, was found in the black car during a search.
It weighed a staggering 150 kilos.
A 40-year-old man has now been arrested in connection with the drugs seizure, which was found as part of a police operation.
He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.
