Hillfoot train station
The person who died after being struck by a train at Hillfoot Station has been identified.
A 16-year-old boy from the local area has been confirmed as the victim.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
A report will now be prepared for the Procurator Fiscal.
British Transport Police have thanked the public for their help in identifying the male.
