Celtic have moved to sign Kieran Tierney up on a new six-year contract after the 20-year-old was scouted this season by a number of English Premier League clubs.
Spurs are the latest team to have been tabs on the left-back, a product of the club's youth academy, while Manchester United and Arsenal have all been credited with an interest in the Scotland internationalist.
Tierney has become a mainstay of the Celtic first-team since breaking into the squad under Ronny Deila.
The news that he has been signed on a long-term deal will ensure that even if there is a serious bid tabled for the player that the club will be adequately compensated.
However, the player clearly sees his future at the club with his development apparent in the manner in which he has progressed to deputising as captain as times this season following injuries to Scott Brown and Mikael Lustig.
