COPS have launched a probe after the body of a man was discovered in a house in East Kilbride.
Officers made the grim discovery at around 8.25pm on Monday night.
The 36-year-old man's death is being treated as unexplained.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 8.25pm last night, the body of a 36-year-old man was discovered in a house in Lyttleton, East Kilbride.
“A Post Mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death, which is currently being treated as unexplained.
"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
