GRAEME MURTY reckons consistency is the key for Daniel Candeias as he looks to go from strength to strength at Rangers.

The winger netted his fourth goal in Light Blue on Saturday as the Gers clinched a comfortable 3-0 win over Partick Thistle.

And interim boss Murty was pleased with another solid performance from the Portuguese at Ibrox.

“It’s fantastic for him to get his goal,” he told RangersTV.

“I thought his run for Jason Holt was brilliant and he moved people out the way really well.

“So I’m really pleased for him because he needs to start believing in himself and his ability.

“I think he could be a major threat in the final third if we can get him more consistent and get him running at people because he’s got a trick, he’s quick and he puts really good balls in the box. So we could make more use of him I think.”
