POLICE are on the hunt for a sneaky thief who made off in a stolen car.
Detectives are appealing for information following a theft by housebreaking incident in the Bonhill area of Alexandria in the early hours of Saturday, November 4.
At around 2.30am, a property in Strathleven Drive was broken into and a pair of car keys were stolen.
The suspect then made off from the scene in the householder’s Volkswagen Golf car.
Detective Sergeant Alan Macdougall from Clydebank CID said: “Enquiries are at a very early stage to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and I would appeal to anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the early hours of this morning to please come forward."
