A BUSY footbridge over the River Clyde was sealed off by cops investigating an assault.
Officers were spotted on the southern side of the Tradeston Bridge at around 6.45am this morning.
A police spokeswoman confirmed that a 24-year-old man was assaulted near Windmillcroft Quay at around 2.35am and was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
The spokeswoman added: "Enquiries are at an early stage."
