FIREFIGHTERS who battled a bonfire blaze in Glasgow's South Side were kept at the scene for over 11 hours.
The fire crews were called to Scotland Street on Saturday, November 4 at around 10.40pm to reports of a building ablaze. However, on arrival the emergency team found that it was instead two large bonfires burning behind industrial buildings.
A spokesperson for Scottish Fire and Rescue confirmed: “We received reports of a building fire in Scotland Street around 10.40pm on Saturday night.

Fire units remained at the scene until 9.50am on Sunday morning to ensure the flames did not reignite.
There were no reports of any injuries.
A police spokeswoman confirmed that they were notified of the blaze, however no action will be taken.
