M&D’s spectacular Christmas activities are set to return with the arrival of its popular Santa’s Magical Wonderland and outdoor ice skating rink.

Santa will make his grand entrance into M&D’s on a Christmas train before skating across the ice rink on 18 November at 11.00am, marking the start of the Christmas season at Scotland’s Theme Park.

Festive revellers can expect to find a wonderful grotto, live reindeer, storytelling sessions and enchanting animated Christmas scenes as part of Santa’s Magical Wonderland.

A first for 2017, M&D’s has introduced autism-friendly Santa’s Magical Wonderland sessions which will be quieter with adapted storytelling slots, enabling more families than ever before to enjoy its Christmas activities.

Matthew Taylor, managing director of M&D’s Theme Park, said: “Santa’s Magical Wonderland continues to grow in popularity each year.

“We can’t wait to launch our Christmas offering with Santa again this year and are sure it will be the best year yet.

“It is very important to us to deliver an unforgettable festive experience that can be enjoyed by all which is why we have created autism-friendly sessions.”

Visitors to M&D’s can also take a spin around M&D’s 25m open air ice rink, before warming up beside the indoor fire pit and enjoying tasty treats including burgers, hotdogs and handmade pizzas as well as hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows.

Cosmic Bowl, Scotland’s only glow-in-the-dark bowling alley will also be offering special Christmas packages with the opportunity to bowl with Santa.

Santa’s Magical Wonderland opens on 18 November at 12.00pm and a full list of dates and times as well as prices can be found on the website.
