PROPOSALS have been put forward that could see a shopping centre in Easterhouse transformed.
The Shandwick Centre had originally been earmarked for demolition however a new plan could see it revamped instead.
A planning application submitted to Glasgow City Council shows illustrations for the rebranded The Lochs Shopping Centre.
Montagu Evans wrote in their retail statement: "The proposed development represents a rebrand of the existing Shandwick Square Shopping Centre which will now be known as The Lochs Shopping Centre."
Glasgow City Council originally planned to demolish the centre but it proved to be an asset to the area.
These redevelopment proposals come as part of the £6million Easterhouse Town Centre Action Plan.
