A MAN who assaulted a taxi driver has been ordered to stay out of trouble.
At Glasgow Sheriff Court, Gordon Gallagher admitted grabbing his victim by the face in Lochleven Road on September 1, 2016.
The 39-year-old also pleaded guilty to shouting, swearing and repeatedly uttering threats of violence towards officers at Cathcart Police Station on the same day.
As Gallagher, of Carmichael Place, already has a Community Payback Order and Restriction of Liberty Order from Edinburgh Sheriff Court for another matter, sentence was deferred until March 14 next year to give the accused time to be of good behaviour.
