A 45-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting which took place in Bridge of Weir last month.
As previously reported by the Evening Times, the targeted attack happened while the victim was working on his car in a farmyard at Crosslee Farm at around 2.30pm on Tuesday.
Cops said the 41-year-old sustained an injury after he was shot from behind in what is being treated as an attempted murder.

He was rushed to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, where medical staff describe his condition as stable.
A spokesperson for the police said: "A 45 year-old man has been arrested and is presently detained in police custody in connection with the incident."
